Recordium Pro - voice recorder, record memos and note taking App Reviews

This application has serious error. Individual cannot recover accidentally deleted files! There is no possibility to recover original version of the recording when edition was taking place. There is complete lack of technical and customer service support. I really do not recommend this application!

It has great functionality, many useful features, but main goal to save recordings is not realized nicely. But unexpectadly the recorded recording dissapears !!!

2016-05: Cannot count on app to save recordings. Development updates stopped in 2014 as of this post.

This app needs to be pulled from the App Store. The app developer hasnt updated it in a very long time now. It randomly deletes files without the users consent and the iCloud sync doesnt work, the little wheel just sits there and spins.

I am a student and I have frequently used this to record lectures. It works great for me. Closing the app w/o saving loses the recording; but thats common sense right? If u want something better, u get what u pay for.

In need of update. Dont trust recordings to this app.

Nice recording app, HOWEVER, the iCloud sync does not work even a little bit. Provides a false sense of security that your recording are backed up. They are not! This app hasnt been update in several months, maybe years... Look elsewhere for a recording app.

Ive used this app for 3+ years. I dont know what has happened but Im done. I have lost so much important audio because this thing doesnt auto save my recordings. I dont know if this is a bug or what but seems to me the app should auto save the recordings no matter what. If I get a call when its paused gone. I forget to click save after stopping or pausing gone. In fact Im so confused as to why something that is supposed to record doesnt actually record anything more than a temporary file unless I implicitly make sure its saved and nothing happens such as normal phone functions that could interrupt the recording process. Its too bad this app is really nice with the exception it does everything I could want short of recording and retaining recordings.

A year of recordings gone.. due to poor iCloud sync and a glitch in not being able to see files in the shared folder.. I will never go back to this application.

I noticed how many bad reviews are here let me tell U something this app absolutely worth every single penny. First of all the only feature that is so important and hard to find is how it gets the voice so clearly. I really enjoy my lectures and other recordings. I sync it with my laptop to extract memos and trim it or sharpen it with other apps if U R looking for a recorder then this is whats youre looking for

Generally like how this works once got used to it. A very big flaw as has been pointed out by others is that recordings are lost if you dont get back immediately to hit save. Wait a few minutes and it is gone...

It was an excellent app at first. I use to record on Recordium and be able to upload to google Dropbox. With a recent update all uploading features have been taken away! -For the developer - if these features are not offered anymore please remove it from your list of offered features. (Dropbox, and google drive upload feature). This would be false advertising. Other than that it is a nice recording app. I wish this feature would be restored in a future update.

First of all, let me say that this application could be the best of the entire bunch. However… When I first started using it I lost a very important lecture, it literally just disappeared from the folder structure of this app. Because the features were so strong I decided to try using this one more time. I recorded a once in a lifetime lecture that I wanted to reference. I just moved it to another folder and when I opened the folder it had completely disappeared and, despite iCloud syncing it was removed from the cloud as well! This app should not be trusted. If an application randomly deletes important files then unfortunately its a one star app. (if the dev could fix the disabling bugs on this app it would have no competition)

Ive been testing recording apps for quite a long time and Ive found this one to be the best. Theres a bug, though. When you move a recording from the main folder to another from the recordings list, the app closes itself. Pls fix. TKS.

Many useful options. Thank you! I would love you to add the following option: - reverse action in case of mistake. (Ctrl Z) - possibility to add more recording to an existing file (if possible in the beginning, where ever chosen in the middle and or in the end). - it would be great to have a copy /cut & paste, weed in a track and from one contractor the others - The possibility to do the bulk transfer of the bulk audio files through iTunes Thank you so much for this application

I have some complaints related to the updade 2.0. The most lamentable: the update lost all highlights, tags, notes and photos that I made in records with the previous version of Recordium. This is a serious bug in update and must be corrected. It is unforgivable lose all work done in Recordium in each update. The app loses the purpose. Like me, I believe many people may use the app in their work, and lose work is a serious problem. Please, correct such bug. A second complaint is about the new visual style of Recordium. Ok, the new visual, based on iOS 7, is good, but do not you think the previous visual is more beautiful? Why to lose the microphone icon? Instead of, a simple box "Record"? What a shame! The idea of incorporating the minimalist visual was too extreme.

Simply does not open anymore!
